Thank You Card
A sincere, handwritten thank you note is truly a cherished gift. When a parent takes their time to write a meaningful note, it is so special.
Looking for something small to send with your note? Check to see if they have a “Favorite Things” list.
Often times, teachers will have favorites listed on their website or linked through the school’s PTA. A simple gift of their favorite soda and snacks is an easy way to show you appreciate them.
Foot lotion
When I was teaching 2nd grade, the Earth Therapeutics Foot Repair Balm was gifted to me by a coworker. It quickly became my favorite thing!
It’s no secret that teachers’ feet ache by the end of the day. This lotion is the best! It softens the skin and smells so good! I still ask for it when someone asks me what gifts I love because it feels like such a treat.
La Chatelaine Hand Cream
My favorite lotion to gift is this La Chatelaine Hand Cream. It is such good quality and a treat for teachers who may not splurge on themselves.
This cute gift set comes in several different scents. The tin also makes a great organizer! I keep mine in my desk drawer to hold all my lotions and lip balms I use throughout the day.
Lip Balm
Speaking of lip balm, Burt’s Bees is definitely my favorite! It moistens lips without being sticky and comes in so many different flavors. Makes the perfect gift for teachers who spend all day talking and could use the self-care.
Stationery
Teachers go through a lot of stationery, whether it’s sending a note down the hall to the office, to parents, or a word of encouragement for their students.
Cute stationery makes a wonderful gift! I love this set that comes with a variety of supplies and can be personalized with your teacher’s name.
Books for the Classroom
This is a wonderful way to get your child involved. Do they have a favorite picture book that they would love their teacher to have a copy of? Consider purchasing a copy and writing a sweet note on the inside cover from your child.

Classroom Resources Gift Card
Teachers spend so much of their own hard earned money purchasing supplies and resources for the classroom. Consider gifting them a gift card to a supply store, Wal-Mart, Target, or Teachers Pay Teachers.
