Pentecost is the official birthday of the Church. It is the day the Holy Spirit came to the Jesus’ disciples after His death and resurrection to give them the courage to go out and do Christ’s work.

Make a memorable lesson by throwing a birthday party for the Church! It can be as simple as asking a parent to donate cupcakes and singing Happy Birthday! Add to the fun with decorations and asking students to dress up for the party.
